Save Prada Marfa

The whole Dumb Starbucks gag connects on some spiritual level with Prada Marfa, which is under threat due to a giant playboy bunny.

Prada Marfa is a non-functional Prada outlet in the desert. You can't go in, it isn't staffed, it's just there. Full of spiked bags and shoes. It was created as an art project in 2005 by Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, a pair of Danish-Norwegians.

Thanks to the arrival of the giant playboy bunny next door, state officials have taken notice that the store doesn't meet with government zoning laws. Oops.

There's a Save Prada Marfa site you can find here.

Surreal landscapes of Jacek Yerka

These are so much fun. Inspirational flights of fancy I'd like to visit, if I could.

Check out more of his work here.
